Lou holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) from Torrens University and is an AHPRA registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner. He also has a Master of Arts in Literature and Writing from Deakin University. With a background in language teaching and literature, Lou was drawn to Chinese Medicine through its transformative potential and rich philosophical foundations. This holistic approach, which views humans as interconnected with other living beings, ancestors, the environment, and cosmology, deeply resonated with him and led him to pursue a career in the field.

Clinically, Lou has a special interest in sleep, women’s health, digestion, and the intricate relationship between physical and emotional well-being. He is passionate about helping individuals restore balance and achieve optimal health through the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine.

Beyond his clinical work, Lou is an avid reader, writer, and translator of poetry, bringing his love of language and storytelling into his practice and everyday life.
